    一、教学目标

    1.能够听、说、认读动词词组:empty the trash和句型I’m helpful! I can…

    2.能够听、说、认读动词词组:cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom.

    3.能够听懂、说唱歌谣:Dog, dog, what can you do?并初步掌握句型:What can you do? I can…

    二、教学重、难点

    1.本课时的教学重点是学习有关家务劳动的五个动词词组。

    2.本课时的教学难点是四个动词词组的书写以及词组empty the trash的发音,句型I can…的运用。

    三、教学准备

    1.教学课件。

    2.Let’s  learn部分的词组卡片,教学图片。

    四、教学过程

    Step I Warming up
    1.   Let’s chant.

               Dog, dog, what can you do?

               I can run after you.

               Panda, panda, what can you do?

               I can eat so much bamboo.

               Mouse, mouse, what can you do?

               I can hide in a shoe.

               Mike, Mike, what can you do?

               I can draw animals in the zoo.

    2.   Greetings.

    T: What can you do at school?

    S1: I can play football/read books/…at school.

    T: What can you do at home?

    S2: I can do homework/watch TV /…at home.

    Step II Presentation and practice
    T: What can you do at home?

    S1: I can do homework/watch TV/…at home.

    T: Your fish is hungry now. What can you do?

    S2: I can feed the fish.

    T: Your mom is very busy. What can you do?

    S2: I can help my mom.

    T: Good. You are helpful. (Lead-in “helpful”)

    T: Are you helpful at home?

    Ss: Yes, I am. I am helpful.

    T: The flower is very thirsty. What can you do?

    S3:I can water the flowers.(Lead-in “water the flowers”)

    Listen and repeat, and try to spell out the missing letters by listening to the teacher’s sound.

    T: wat__ the flow__s(自制单词卡)

    T: I’m a flower. I’m pretty. I’m nice. But I’m thirsty. (act)

    S1: I’m helpful. I can water the flowers. (act)

    T: Thank you. But I’m still thirsty. (act)

    S2: I’m helpful. I can water the flowers. (act)

    T: Thank you. But I’m still thirsty. (act)

    S3: I’m helpful. I can water the flowers. (act)

    T: Thank you. I’m cool now.

    T: Look at the grass, trees and other plants. They are also thirsty. Can you help them? Please act in pairs.

    S1: I’m grass. I’m small and green. But I’m thirsty. (act)

    S2: I’m helpful. I can water the grass. (act)

    S1: Thank you. I’m cool /happy/…now. (act)

    2. Teach “clean the bedroom”.

    T: Do we water the flowers with glue or water?

    Ss: Water.

    T: Yes, so water is very helpful.

    T: What can Mr Water do? (show the water drop)

    S1: Mr Water can clean the window.

    T: And what else? Practice by yourself.

    S2: I’m Mr Water. I’m helpful. I can clean the wall/desk…

    S3: I can clean the room.

    T: Look! What room is it?

    S4: Maybe it’s a study/an office…

    T: What kind of room can you clean?

    S1: I can clean the dining room/study…

    T: Thank you. You are so helpful .Now let’s chant.

    CAI:

                         Let’s chant

                   Clean the bedroom!

                   Clean the living room!

                   Clean the bathroom!

                   Clean the dining room!

                   Clean the study!

                   Clean the kitchen!

                   I can clean the house!

                   Oh, yeah!

    3.   Teach “sweep the floor”.

    T: Look at this room. Is it clean or dirty? What can you see in the room?

    S1:I can see some pieces of paper/rubbish…

    T: What can you do?

    S2:(try to say)I can sweep the floor.

    T: Can you sweep the floor?

    Ss: Yes, I can.

    T: Now let’s sweep the floor together. OK?

    Ss: OK.

    CAI:

             Open the door.

             Sweep the floor.

             Sweep, sweep, sweep.

             Sweep the floor.

    T: Do and say, do it slowly, then quickly.

    Ss: (stand up and say)
