    5.To reinforce asking for per mission using the question “Can I …?”
    Main Tasks:

    3.Language focus:
    a)We mustn’t pick flowers.
    b)Can I leave my bag here?
    c)They look like cups, don’t they?

    2. Free talk:
    What’s your favourite flower?
    What do they look like?
    We’re going to the park for our lesson today.
    3. Introduce the topic and the aims of the text.
    1. Learn the names of the flowers.
    2. Some answer the questions, some listen.
    3. Listen and prepare to listen to the dialogue.
    Presentation
    1. Ask the pupils to watch the video of U8 with some questions.
    2. Watch again and discuss in groups:
    a) Where are they going to for their lesson today?
    b) What name do we call the kapok tree?
    c) What do the tulips look like?
    d) Can we pick up the violets? And why or why not?
    3. Focus the pupils on the questions “Why mustn’t Sally pick the flowers?”
    4. Play the tape and let the pupils look at the pictures as they listen.
    5. Let the pupils discuss the question in pairs.
    6. Ask the pupils for the answer.
    1. Pair works.
    2. Listen and answer the questions.
    3. Read and act out the dialogue.
    Practice
    1. Practice the new words and sentences.
    2. Group pupils to act out the story. Choose a group to perform their “play” for the rest of the class.
    3. Show some pictures of the people in the park.

    1. Play the game with teacher and in groups.
    2. Talk in pairs and then talk in the class.

    1. Discuss in groups. Talk about what we can do and what we can’t do in the park. Then fill in the table.P38
