Contents:Dialogue; work with language, the rhyme and the song.
Teaching Aims:
1.To introduce the travel vocabulary in context and make it comprehensible.
2.Tointrooduce the: “How are you getting there (Hong Kong)?”and its relevant answer.
3.To provide listening practice and expose pupils to language in use.
4.To personalise the topic and make it meaningful for the pupils.
5.To provide some practise of the new vocabulary.
6.To introduce a popular song on the topic of travel .
Main Tasks:
1.Ask the pupils to read and act out the dialogue in group.
2.Ask the pupils talk about “Travel”;
3.Can finish the exercises in the Activity Book after learning the Text Book.
4.Language focus:
a)Where are you going holiday?
b)I’m going to America.
c)How are you going to get there? I’m going to Hong Kong tomorrow.
d)What time is your train going to leave for Hong Kong?
e)How would you like to travel?
Teaching Difficulties:
1.To describe the pupil’s real life..
2.To state opinions using information in simple spoken texts.
3.To speak the time : five past twelve a quarter to twelve .
Preparations:Tape recorder, tapes, pictures, word cards, soft wares, PC

2. Focus pupils on the pictures and ask them what happens in the story.
3. Ask pupils to repeat the dialogue when acting.
4. Read out or play the dialogue section by section.
