    Contents:Dialogue
    Teaching Aims:
    1.To give predicting the content of a dialogue from a picture and              listening /reading to check predictions.
    2.To expose pupils further to language to talk about transport.
    3.To expose pupils to language  in use .
    4.To introducethe future continous tense .

    Main Tasks:
    1.Ask the pupils to master the words and phrases:
    Zoo ,tiger Window of the World;
       2.Ask the pupils understand the following words’ Chinese, prounciation . ;
    3.Ask the pupils to read and act out the dialogue in group.
    4.Ask the pupils talk about “Travel” with “ What are you going to do?  How are you going to get there?  Are you going to …?” ;
    5.Can finish the exercises in the Activity Book after learning the Text Book.
    2.Language focus:
    a)What are you going to do ?
    b)I’m going to….   We are going to… .
    c)How are you going to get there? By….
    d)Are you going to…? Yes, we are going to ….

    Teaching Difficulties:
    1.To describe “Travel” with the following sentences:
    What are you going to do?  How are you going to get there? Are you going to …?
    2.To state opinions using information in simple spoken texts.
    3.to read the phrase: for a day trip , Guangzhou Art Museum 

    Preparations:Tape recorder, tapes, pictures, word cards, soft wares, PC

    The Teaching Procedures:(The First Period )

    1. Show the learning objectives:
    2. Expose pupils further to language to talk about transport.
    3. Sing a song.
    4. To have the chat to lead the topic: The future continuous tense .
    5. To sing the song to go over the words about transport.
    3.Listen and prepare to listen to the dialogue.
    Present
    1. Most of this dialogue is in the future continuous tense, need to draw an attention to this. If pupils don’t understand, you can tell them it’s about the future.
     
    1. Pair pupils to talk about the picture and predict what the story is about.
    2. Ask some of the children for their prediction and decide as a class whose are the most probable.
    3. Let the pupils to understand what Chenjiamin is going to do on weekdays and how he is going to get each places from Monday to Sunday.
    4. To tell the pupils to some notes to Jianin’s plan as they listen to the dialogue what you hear.
    6. Ask pupils to repeat the main notes about the dialogue .
    1.Listen, think and talk in groups.
    2.Listen and answer the questions: What are you going to do?   How are you going to get there?
    5. Try to fill in a form of part(II) about the dialogue .
    6. TO interview someone about his plan this Saturday/Sunday. 
    Practice
    1. Play the tape and let pupils read along.
    2. Ask the class for the answer to the question.
    3. Let pupils repeat the dialogue after you.
    4. Practice the new words and sentences.
    5. Practice reading
    paragraph1and paragraph2 of the dialogue.
    6. Act the dialogue of (I)and (II)
    7. Game: Ask a pupil to do action, let the others to guess what you are going to do and how you are going to get there.
     
    1. Read the dialogue with different tones.
    2. Talk in pairs and then talk in the class.
    3.Play the game with teacher and in groups.
    4.Read the dialogue together .
    7. Read the dialogue in groups and then act out the dialogue.
    8. Comparation which one do the best.
    9. Act a reporter to interview someone.
    Consolidate
    1. Put pupils into pairs to read the dialogue, then swap roles.
    2. Let pupils act the story in pairs. Encourage them not to look at their books. It maybe helpful to put a few key words on the board to help them.
    3. Ask the pupils to act the dialogue ..
    4. Makes a survey table, then let them to make a report in class.
     
    1.Act the dialogue in groups.
    2. Makes a survey and fill in the table, then make a report in class.
    1. Try to make the contents in this class.

    1. To read and copy the new words of Unit11.
    2. To act out the dialogue with your friend.
    3. To finish the surveying table in group.
    4. To recite the text if you can.
